Situation

Industrial giant Smith’s Industries has recently converged two of its companies under one brand – Kaelus – which it launched at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February 2012. As part of the move, the company hired Videobaby Media Ltd to film a series of interviews with key executives about the launch and to show case the companies latest test and measurement equipment.

 

Solution

We had a two camera set up, with ambient and in-fill lighting to film the instruments being demonstrated and the executive doing the demos. This was then synched in the edit to allow cuts between the person speaking and the technology being demonstrated. It was all done using noise cancelling lapel mics because of the large amount of ambient noise. The shoot was directed by Videobaby Media Ltd with input from the client. All the titles and music was created by Videobaby Media Ltd.

Situation

Brightpoint, a well established mobile technology platform provider, has recently launched a new brand identity, which it showcased at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February 2012. Videobaby Media Ltd was hired to capture the new logo, give a sense of what the company does and interview the companies two leaders, who outlined what the rebrand means to the company and the wider industry in which it operates.

 

Solution

Footage was shot over a number of hours on the company’s busy booth on two Sony HD camera, often handheld to create a modern feel. This was then used to spice up two talking head interviews, both filmed on Sony HD camera on tripod with in-fill lighting. The whole thing was directed by Videobaby Media Ltd with input from the company and the finished video was used for PR and marketing purposes around the re-brand. All the titles and music was created by Videobaby Media Ltd.

M&CSAATCHI MOBILE at M-GAMING SUMMIT LONDON 2012

M-Gambling Summit 2012 (Joint venture between World Telemedia Ltd and iGaming Business Ltd)

Situation

Event organisers World Telemedia and iGaming Business needed to capture the essence of the m-Gaming Event in London for post show marketing purposes, editorial distribution and to market next year’s event (in due course). Videobaby Media Ltd was charged with procuring interviews with key speakers to get a broad range of views from the speakers. This is one example of eight videos shot and captures the essence of what the speakers had to offer.

Publishing Case Study

BANKING TECHNOLOGY ROUNDTABLE

Situation

Banking Technology magazine sold the idea to sponsor eWise to put together a thought leadership roundtable panel to discuss how mobile payments were changing how consumers pay for things. The panel was closed to the public, but was filmed and turned into an article. This video is a value add shoot giving and overview and interviews with key thought leaders that was used to promo the main video and the article and to allow sponsor eWise to push out some value-add content to publicise the editorial offerings around the event.

 

Solution

Videobaby Media Ltd set up the shoot with two cameras, one fixed and one handheld (and we did the stills photography that accompanied the published article) to capture the general feel of the event and the actual panel debate itself. All this footage was then synched and edited. Fill in lighting was used to counter the natural light and omni-directional mics were used for the roundtable. Noise cancelling lapel mics were then employed for the interviews. All the titles and music was created by Videobaby Media Ltd.
